Mexico City Advice
Hey all,
I'm going to visit my wife in Mexico City this thursday through monday. Any good advice on things to do/not to do? And yes, I know about the whole taxi cab/kidnapping thing. and ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Nathan

don't listen to what most people have to say about what not to do, and enjoy yourself.
except for the dog thing, that might be a good idea. and eat as much tacos al pastor as you can from the carts... they rule.

there's an amazing steak house in the red district (think that's the name). it's some colored district near the toursty hotels, fairly safe to just walk around and shop. anyways, has a big patio outside, on the corner, name escapes me. actually some of the best italian food i've had was in mexico city.
shopping is insane. there's a titty bar called Titallia (sp?) down the same street. don't go in. got the shake down in a big way. as you can tell by my lack of memory of places i was wasted for a good period of time while there. drive by the skyscraper with the tree. some tree is growing out of the 30th floor. a trip.
