I never liked Mexico city. The last time I went, I remember my eyes constantly tearing up because of the horrible air quality. My girlfriend and I kept having headaches and all. We had a suckass time there.

My aunt and cousin currently live in Mexico city. They've lived there for many years. My cousin has gotten car jacked twice, in one incident getting 'kidnapped'. (They wouldn't let him get out of the car.) Drove outside of town, left him in his underoos. No joke. My aunt has gotten mugged about 5 times, no exaggeration.

Just be careful and put away you bling. Don't stand out in the crowd looking all-american.
