Could Jack be Jacob?
Jacob needed lockes 'help'. Maybe thats why Locke threw a knife at the girl...to stop Jack from making contact with the Frieghter. With the whole time/space/difference thinger they got going on...maybe Jacob is Jack in the future, trying to make jack of the present do the right things this time... maybe... or I could be high....

i too feel jack is jacob, but i too could be high as well.
i think the "temple" the others refer to has something to do with that 4 toed statue. i also think that every time walt has mysteriously appeared some where he wasnt suppose to be, like to lock whilst surrounded by dharma bodies, i think thats walt. while all the "ghosts" we see are things placed infront of our eyes by the smoke monster. they tell us in season 1 and 2 about how walt is special and has powers of some sort. lost is the best drama oriented show ever. damnit.
