They show the new stuff on PayTV, but most Australians refuse to pay for TV channels, unless it's for sport. If I get tired of waiting, I'll just buy the new season on DVD.

I rarely watch TV but that show was F'ing brilliant.

The character died. The show is coming to an end in three more episodes. I have to admit I haven't been as faithful to Six Feet Under as I am to Deadwood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Carnival and a few others. I missed a lot of the middle couple of seasons. I just got back into it in the last two seasons. I will probably buy the DVD's and watch it all the way through. It's better that most other drama's on TV.

I think they are more upset at me for telling them about the character on TV who died. All I can do is apologize, though it seems that some present would happily watch as I disembowel myself if I were so inclined.
