...
why would you do that?
cuz its my job. I work for a litigation service bureau (we copy, scan, print docs, etc. for lawyers.)
90% of the stuff that comes through is super boring. But, occasionally I'll see some crime scene photos, autopsies, medical stuff...
Yuck.
I had a friiend who used to take accident pics and autopsy pics
I couldnt do that crap
no way![]()
A friend of mine works for a medical illustration company. Most of their work is for court cases showing how people get hurt. Some of that stuff is down right nasty. People get really messed up in some really strange ways.
We sometimes have to print those med. illustrations blown up to like 24"x36".
yup. People get messed up in weird ways...
An interesting case a few weeks back concerned a dude who somehow got his leg caught in the business end of an outboard motor. And then some forensics firm built a fake leg (complete with bone inside) and tried to re-create the incident.
Interesting.
At least those photos were fine, cuz it was just mangled plastic (but you know the same thing happened to the guy.)
If you ever try to losen a lug nut on a the wheel of a tractor trailer and you have a hard time getting it to come lose. Do NOT try putting a crescent wrench on it then stand on the handle to get it to come loose. You could easily slip and have the HANDLE END of the wrench jammed THROUGH the...uh...TAINT area of the body (and not just a little bit, like, the whole handle) which looks super painful, even as an illustration.
This is where I got the name of my imaginary band, Taintwrench
also be sure to NOT have any gerbels helpingOriginally Posted by Boyd
