I'm going to try to answer some general questions here all at once:

I sent about a third of the books out to the general trade (B&N, Borders, Amazon, et al) yesterday. The books should show up at all of these places throughout the next 30 days.

Diamond, the major comics distributor, also took some, so it may be in your local comic shop. However, the few comic stores left in the country are mostly superhero & baseball card shops, so these copies are going to a minority of stores.

The funky li'l boutiques and shops will come to Last Gasp direct to order. If you know any store who wants 10+ copies, send them to me and I will set them up with a sales rep.

If you are a contributor, you may buy additional copies at 40% off the retail. It will be roughly $24 apiece.

I don't have anything to do with the toy. That's Frank's end of things. When he knows when the toy will be available, I'm sure he will post it here.

We wait for the chain stores to sell through, if they don't whack us with big returns, and, if there's still demand, we will make more. When books stop selling, they are nothing but really heavy boxes of paper. It's better to print in low runs and reprint when needed than to overprint...
