it's my favorite. followed closely by Celestial then Oceanic. even though it really doesn't have many vocals, musically it really just connects with me on some emotional level

Celestial and Oceanic are great too. I think my next favourite would be Absence of Truth though... maybe not as an entire album but there are a few songs on it that effin rule.

Heard the new Pelican album?

yeah the Pelican is good but it kinda got pushed to the side fairly quickly, where as I totally wore out Fire in Our Throats. and Absence definitely has some great songs on it, I've loved it more and more everytime I've listened to it. the opening track is one of my favorite things that they've done, i love the build up and layering of it.

Yep, Wrist of Kings is one of those epic kind of songs. I've been having a hard time listening to Pelican lately as I find there are bands that do it better than them. I just started listening to North and Zebulon Pike. Both awesome.
