oh my god. i think kings x sucks more that about anything and wanted to kill some guy that kept on asking me if i had any or was going to do any kings x posters at the last seattle flatstock.

i just got back from shannon's pub allan.. i saw 3 bands there tonite, 1st band i didn't catch their name.. not bad sound wise but the dude sang with a british accent. 2nd band was quinzy and they are pretty damn talented dudes.. 3rd band was alverstone and they suck balls like nobody else.. such cliche/gimmicky sound, i felt like throwing something. the lead singer annoys me to no end..

I heard Alverstone on 101 and I was like, "they seem energetic". Apparently someone from Record Collection (The Walkmen, Murs, and others) might be interested in them or Arnold Lanni's thing, I'm not sure which. Quinzy's cool...I should see them sometime (I picked up their first album on the strength that Jesse LeDoux did their design).

I can definitely see Alverstone being marketable, doesn't suprise me they're on the verge of a record deal.. the will definitely play into the scenester circles for a couple months. they're very energetic, but overly for the most part.. the dude sings like the guy from louis xiv and dances around like a drag queen..
as for quinzy, its the first time i've seen them live.. super solid/tight and a really good sound.. and yeah, awesome that they have ledoux album art.
