Default Manson Posters

Nothing too Fancy here.. but I think they look nice.. since we are framing all 20+ of this series needed to find a nice moderate frame and mat.

Well I ordered a frame that I ordered from American Frame that was way too gold. But here is the process that I used to end up with the final product. What a pain in the ass, but at least now I have a proper frame for one of my favorite gig posters.

Frame that I previewed from American Frame:

American Frame here is the frame that showed up obviously way too gold. I took steel wool and stripped off the paint.

I tried spray painting the frame copper, but was not happy with it:

Second Coat of darker metallic paint still not happy with it

I put the print in with a brown matte but it looked awful:

I decided to spray paint the frame black and then start blending in some copper metallic paint with it. I just kept layering it until I was pretty happy with the result. It is not perfect but I think it turned out quite nice after painting it again and changing the top matte to black
