watched the first two episodes of "country boys" last night, about two kids growning up in rural kentucky. not the greatest documentary ever (it's a little tough to follow the timeline, since it looks like it was filmed over several years, but edited in a not so chronological order. i'll probably watch the last two episodes to see how it ends for them, though.

Watched "aka Tommy Chong" last night. Pretty good and also pretty fucking unbelievable. This country is so screwed when it comes to politicians pushing their own moral agendas on everyone else.
Also watched "The Life and Death of a Serial Killer - The story of Aileen Wournos" (sp?) pretty good, she is bat shit crazy and crazy good at lying through her jacked up grill.
Country Boys was okay, but nothing great. Good time killer doc.

i caught that tommy chong doc a few months back. i thought it was really interesting. pretty shocking how he it seemed like he was basically set up by the DEA then railroaded into taking a plea deal to save his family.

Watched The Garden last night. *SPOILER ALERT!*
Powerful doc. I hate to admit it, but I see both sides equally. The gardeners never once really said "Hey, thanks for letting us use this land for free for 12 years, is there anyway we can work this out?" So I understand why the owner was a little bitter, not saying some shady shit didn't go down, but I saw alot of false sense of ownership and "this is our land" mentality. If anything, the city should have stepped in, but for that guy to walk away from $10 million profit is pretty idiotic in it's own right.
