Fog Of War is heavy. Robert McNamara has a lot of shit weighing on him.

City Of God isn't a documentary but the DVD has a documentary on it that is the real deal that the movie is based on. depressing as hell how people live in Rio.

Another:

EXHAUSTED--JOHN C. HOLMES, THE REAL STORY (1981), funny love letter from a female director to the late porn legend John Holmes ("14,000+" women); extensive interviews with John and Seka (who seem to love each other), director Bob Chinn, and people on the street, plus lots of scenes grouped by subject matter (and including Annette Haven, Georgina Spelvin, Linda Wong, luscious Felicia Sanda and many others); BOOGIE NIGHTS fans will have dejá vù. Turns out all of Holmes' stories are totally phony; he was a major basehead at the time and was trying to make a comeback.

vernon fl is a riot. that old dude and his petting zoo are the best.
tthe kid stays in the picture is pretty good, geoff-hitlser's secretary is surprisingly atchable, even though it's a digicam interview with an old lady-not much els, but she has a fascinating story.
michael apted did a documentary on tianemen square called 'MOVING THE MOUNTAIN', it made me like, cry.
STYLE WARS is a personal fave..i'll watch qlmost any documentary i find. in the past few weks, i've watched AMERICVAN MOVIE, BIGGIE AND TUPAC (even though i don't really like nick broomfield), TITICUT FOLLIES (about bridgewater hospital for the criminally insane)...seems like i might hve watched a few more...
