i have a red neck buddy that loves to fish. he accidentally watched fishing with john one night thinking it was a real fishing show. it was the episode with tom waits. he came over the next day and said "man, i watched the strangest fishing show last night.....there was this old man who would put the fish he caught down his pants" of course i got a good chuckle out of it.

    caught a few this week:

taxi to the dark side (depressing, but really well done)
end of the century (kind of sad to see that in the end they really didn't like each other that much)
the rape of europa (great story about the plunder of artwork before, during and after WWII)

    'Surfwise'
Doug Pray's documentary delves into the often inspiring, sometimes shocking life of 85-year-old Dorian "Doc" Paskowitz, a renowned surfer, surf camp owner, doctor and sex guru who, together with his wife, brought up nine children. Paskowitz raised his family in a camper on the beach, home-schooling them and requiring them to follow a strict lifestyle regimen. Now, his grown children speak out about how their unique upbringing affected them.

    This was pretty amazing.

The Aristocrats was fukking hor-i-bull. Waste of my time.

Just watched "Gram Parsons - Fallen Angel". INCREDIBLE doc. One of the best I have seen in awhile. Even talked in detail about his death and the day that followed. MUST SEE if you are a fan.
