Oh, and I saw a great PBS doc back in the day about the kid who shot his face off because of Judas Priest.

Also, from a rockumentary point o view, I always liked Funky Monks because I love Flea and Frusiante and raw mixes.

Spellbound was okay but I thought it was trying to force itself into an "entertaining documentary" mold it just didn't fit.

Wow, you guys have seen Heavy Metal Parking Lot? Too cool.
I didn't know that this had been circulated beyond the Maryland/DC area.
I had only seen this once about 4 years ago at a screening here in DC, when the director, a former intramural soccer coach of mine, showed it with his commentary. Very cool. That is such a great time capsule moment.

I sell METALLICA DRUMMER. It was found by someone in a dresser drawer, the guy who found it wrote me, said it was OK to sell. Write me for details. Basically, this metal dude perfectly air-drums 4 songs from Metallica's Black album. Doesn't miss a beat.

Personal Plug FYI:

I sell the following docs:

EUROTIKA VOL. 1 (1999), UK TV series serves as a very nice method to introduce yourself to the wonders of European exploitation films, with lots of nude-filled and violent clips. This tape: The Diabolical Mr. Franco (w/ Pete Blumenstock, Briggitte Lahaie, Caroline Munro, and Franco himself); From Barcelona to Tunbridge Wells (on Spain's Jose Ramon Larraz); Blood and Sand (Spanish filmmakers Naschy, de Ossorio, Grau); Blood and Black Lace---The Italian Horror Film (w/ Steve Thrower, Kim Newman, Luigi Cozzi, Erika Blanc, Margheriti); So Sweet, So Perverse.

EUROTIKA VOL. 2 (1999), French Blue (continental porn); Jóse Bénazéraf---A Life in Four Chapters; The Blood Beast---The Films of Michael Reeves (w/ Ian Oglivy, Ian Sinclair); Strange Behaviour (Eurociné, w/ Daniel Lesouer); plus an untitled episode on mad doctors and scientists.

THE HELLSTROM CHRONICLE (1971), I loved this '70s-dripping scare film co-directed by Walon Green (writer of THE WILD BUNCH and SORCERER), with Lawrence Pressman (SHAFT, AMERICAN PIE) as the admittedly phony scientist (he's not one, but he plays one on TV) Dr. Hellstrom, who warns that man's time on Earth is limited, and insects will take over; full of some amazing time-lapse and micro-photography; great to scare your bug-a-phobic wife or girlfriend with.

THE LEGEND OF BIGFOOT (1976), kinda kooky but sincere Bigfoot docudrama, with music by Don Peake (THE HILLS HAVE EYES, BLACK OAK CONSPIRACY).

THE MYSTERIOUS MONSTERS (1975), another alternately cheesy and scary '70s Bigfoot documentary, this one hosted by Peter Graves and brought to you by those fine folks at Sunn Classics; directed by Robert Guenette (THE AMAZING WORLD OF PSYCHIC PHENOMENA, THE MAN WHO SAW TOMORROW).

1% OUTLAW MOTORCYCLE GANGS (1992), truly amazing police training video detailing all the nasty stuff you wondered about concerning the Hells Angels, Pagans, etc. Find out who the big gangs are, their organization, illegal activities, and what those patches really mean (yuck!). After the feature we've added over 15 biker-movie trailers! A perfect party tape. (1:27, C; with trailers totals two full hours!)

CNN BLOOPERS (c.1991), the quality's not too hot but this is an expertly constructed collection of flubs, pranks, cursing, and control room directors going friggin' bonkers; would love to find a better copy but this is great anyway.

GRAVEDIGGER CHRISTIAN SNAKEOIL VOL. 1: DECEPTION OF A GENERATION (1985), here are a couple episodes of a kooky xian cable access show, wherein the host and his "expert" guest analyze cartoons and toys for their occult, new age and homosexual overtones!; great party tape.

GRAVEDIGGER CHRISTIAN SNAKEOIL VOL. 2: PERVERSE PREACHERS, FASCIST FUNDAMENTALISTS, AND KRISTIAN KIDDIE KOOKS (1991), the editors of Boston's Zontar magazine painstakingly sat through hours of cable xian programming and news stories to extract the weirdest, scariest, and wackiest bits that make up this classic compilation, one of the all-time great party tapes. Watch a rapping pirate puppet, revelation doomsayers, airbrushed pulpit bullshit artists, scumbag shysters begging for cash, Illuminati/CFR conspiracies, bizarre new-age organizations, plus a big section covering the most embarrassing moments of Robertson, the Bakers, Oral Roberts, and Swaggart (his famous, teary post-hooker confession; just simultaneously beautiful and horrifying to watch). If christianity is starting to look appealing in your old age, watch this tape for a shock back to reality.

GRAVEDIGGER EYE POLLUTION VOL. 1 (2001), delightful party tape full of shorts and bits culled from the Gravedigger archives: Pony Express Pizza, Bring Me the Head of Charlie Brown, Apocalypse Pooh, Blue Peanuts, Archie Pistols, Metallica Drummer, The Reagans Speak Out on Drugs, The Nightmare, David Benoit--Family Survival, Michael Jordan Porn, Schmitts Gay Beer, Robert Williams, Father Yod, Schenectady City Council, Mary Hart Epilepsy, Lansingburgh Bazaar Rumble, Schroeder Short Film, Lansingburgh Fire, 3-Legged Jeans, Italian Gold, Musicians for Free-Range Chickens, Acid Queen, Grateful Dead Drugs, East Greenbush Pot, Donahue Racial Clips, Stevie & Zoya, Cohoes Bust, Mary Hart Epilepsy, Colonie Occultist, Vermont's Biggest Pot Dealer, Drive-In Collapse, Hemp Cigarettes, Fanzines, Adirondack Haunting.

GRAVEDIGGER TRAILER TRASH VOL. 1 (2001), buck-wild, genre-hopping trailer compilation whose only criteria for inclusion is that we personally own a copy of all of these movies! Two solid hours of horror, sci-fi, bikers, dope, trash, sex, and mayhem. Here's the roster: ALIEN, JUST BEFORE DAWN, TRUCK STOP WOMEN, BEYOND ATLANTIS, SWINGER'S MASSACRE, MONDO MOD, LILA/MANTIS IN LACE, PREACHERMAN, HOT SUMMER IN BAREFOOT COUNTY, NIGHT OF THE COBRA WOMAN, THE VELVET VAMPIRE, MUSICAL MUTINY/WEEKEND REBELLION, BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS, SWITCHBLADE SISTERS, INVASION OF THE BEE GIRLS, THE VAN, THE BLACK 6, THE DUNWICH HORROR, BLOOD OF DRACULA'S CASTLE, TALES OF TERROR, THE HAUNTED PALACE, THE TERROR, BLACK SUNDAY, THE MUMMY, FREAKS, THE STUDENT NURSES, BURY ME AN ANGEL, BLACK MAMA, WHITE MAMA, SWITCHBLADE SISTERS, SUPER VIXENS, PIT AND THE PENDULUM, SWORD AND THE DRAGON, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, ILSA SHE-WOLF OF THE SS, MAD DOCTOR OF BLOOD ISLAND, CAGED VIRGINS, HELLS ANGELS ON WHEELS, THE SAVAGE SEVEN, THE MINI-SKIRT MOB, RUN, ANGEL, RUN!, C.C. AND COMPANY, FUGITIVE GIRLS, GROUP MARRIAGE, I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF, 5 MILLION YEARS TO EARTH, PLANET OF THE APES, YELLOW SUBMARINE, CURSE OF THE DEMON, THE CYCLE SAVAGES, THE FEMALE BUNCH, THE DIRT GANG, NAKED ANGELS, THE BIG DOLL HOUSE, BUCKTOWN, MUSICAL MUTINY, SAVAGE SISTERS, STACEY!, THE MACK, CLEOPATRA JONES, BLACK BELT JONES, BARE KNUCKLES. Whew!

THE HYPNOTIC EYE VOL. 5/6 (1997), Dallas cable access show created by some fanboys with huge video collections & good editing equipment; major bulldada collection of film clips, trailers, music, commercials, giant robots, etc.; nice stuff.

Special discount for Gigposter dudes.
