watched "note by note" last week:
Documentary filmmaker Ben Niles chronicles the creation of Steinway pianos and the vanishing breed of craftsmen who build them. Follow the journey of these beautifully handcrafted, unique instruments from the factory to great concert halls. Interviews with such world-famous artists as Lang Lang, Harry Connick Jr., Hank Jones and many others highlight how Steinway grand pianos are selected by musicians.
I've got two for ya.

been too long since i've watched a documentary. lately it's been the latest seasons of damages, the office, and breaking bad.
wow...been a while since this thread's been updated!
watched "blood into wine" yesterday. Thought it was really interesting...almost came off a bit like a mockumentary, though. who would've thought that maynard would actually be pretty funny?
Maynard James Keenan, internationally known as the front man for Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, is one of music?s most mysterious figures. A multi-million selling artist, little is known about the reclusive rock star who often dresses in costume and rarely gives interviews. In the mid-1990's, on a whim, Keenan left Los Angeles and moved to an Arizona ghost town (population 300). A wine enthusiast, he began to envision a world class wine region on the Verde Valley's craggy slopes and with wine mentor Eric Glomski (former David Bruce winemaker and current owner of the award-winning Page Springs Cellars), Keenan began the long road to bringing credibility and notoriety to Caduceus and Arizona Stronghold Vineyards amidst wine industry prejudice and the harsh Arizona terrain. Blood Into Wine takes viewers into the struggles and triumphs with a unique blend of comedy and master storytelling.
"You said if I could afford to bring back enough for you then you don't care what I do. And it's my body and I can kill it however I want to. And America's about freedom. "
Forks over Knives was discouraging to watch. Apparently, my undying love for cheese has made me a ticking cancer bomb. Afterwards, I started googling vegan recipes and got even more depressed. Blech.
I totally panned Blood Into Wine when I saw the trailer. Maybe I'll give it a watch now.
