I watched the PBS American Masters doc "John James Audubon: Drawn From Nature" last night on Netflix. Well worth watching.

Hopefully getting tickets to the premier at the Hot Docs documentary film festival on Saturday. Wiebo's become a bit of a legend in Alberta over the last decade after initially being arrested in the late 90s for bombing gas wells by his home in the Peace River region. The guy's a bit of a religious nut and seems to pop up in the news for something every couple of years. Be it accusations of murder, an activism campaign or the most recent accusations of another series of bombings.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but I really like the look of it. Hope it comes to the UK.

watched marwencol. definitely interesting. i'd like to see what the prices of his prints go for (there's a thing on his website about not being able to sell them until they make some kind of trust for him so he doesn't lose his disability check)

I'm credited as one of the producers of Lemonade: Detroit, so I was given the opportunity to see the rough cut of the short film version last week.
