wordplay
sketches of frank gehry
hands on the hardbody
rize
decline of western civilization 1 and 2
fade to black (part doc/part concert film)
but the footage of jay-z recording with rick rubin is worth seeing.

Dancing Outlaw

http://imdb.com/title/tt0101655/

One of my all-time favorite films. It documents this insane tap dancer in the appallations. Dude has ridiculous skill, but also disassociative personality disorder and sociopathic streak. He's also addicted to huffing glue. I recommend it highly.

i really liked New York Doll. my wife and i were totally ignorant of their recent history (past 20 yrs) and so it made it that much more dramatic at the end.

Neither Blockbuster or Netflix carries that. I've been wanting to see it.

I watched "4 Little Girls" documentary by Spike Lee last week and I didn't think it was well done at all. Sad story, but the documentary lacked alot.

"Decline of Western Civilization"
"Filth and the Fury"
"Crumb"
"King of the Sunset Strip"(the scene where Rodney Bingenheimers inamorata says they're just friends? It's the real life version of the scene in "The Simpsons" when Bart show Lisa the exact moment that she broke Ralph Wiggums' heart....)

And even though it's fictional, I file "The War Game" w/my documentaries....
