So I woke up early today because I needed to deposit a large sum of money at my credit union. Now I've only actually been there once, mostly because I figured the farther away it is from me, the less likely it would be that I would touch the money I had there. Now having only been there that one time, I wasn't too familiar how to get there exactly (it's like 30 minutes away) so I went on Yahoo maps to get directions. I hate writing down information and have a tendency to just scribble bits and pieces, but I was fairly confident I had all I needed to find my way there and if I got a little lost, it would be fun to figure out my way there.....so I jump on the highway into a torrential downpour. Drive on 670 east for a bit, then hop onto I-71. I look down at my directions and it said to follow I-71 for awhile until you get to 270. I didn't write down which direction on 270 but it said Indianapolis. Anyways, I get to the fork where I have to decide which way to go and west says Dayton and East says Wheeling. Now on I-70, the highway I use to get to Dayton it also says that it's going to Indianapolis, so the rational thinker I am, I just assume that I am going to right direction.
Well, I was wrong. I wasn't too pissed, just drove a little and when I found a place to turn around I did and headed back in the opposite direction. I get off at the Westerville Rd. exit and I start seeing some familiar things and lo and behold there is the credit union. It wasn't to bad a mistake. I would say I probably wasted about ten to fifteen minutes because of my blunder. So I pull up, jump out of my car with my backpack full of cash, just as a sheriff pulls up to the front door. He sees me coming and says "Sorry, banks closed." then as he's walking through the front door I can hear him say "Is everyone all right?" and there is a lady in the front visibly shaken.
You figure it out.
