ever see a giant dodge ram pickup demolish a deer at 75mph?

i have. like 15 feet in front of us driving to rochester from our "show" today. thought we were gonna get 200lbs of deer part shrapnel right through our winshield. then trying to avoid it we were about 2 inches from getting sideswiped by a tractor trailer truck.

scary shit.

i saw worse stuff this weekend on tour in buffalo that i dont even want to get into simply based on how fucking awful it was. there are some FUCKED UP people in this world, lets leave it at that. but im glad to be home in my nice safe locked apartment free of crazy people and deer and huge trucks.

it should be noted that i did not witness the incident. however, i was playing a show at the time like 40 feet down the road from where this was happening. saw the "scene". ::shudders::

Two years ago my wife hit a deer with a 240 volvo. It dented the hood a bit and knocked out a light. But the car was totalled anyway because volvo parts are too expensive and this was an old one.

So I bought her a new pasat which i totalled avoiding a dear and landed it in a ditch hitting a drain pipe at a good clip.

So now she has a land rover with a huge brush rack on the front. Hopefully our deer hitting days are over for a while.

There is a family of deer living in my yard.

When my wife hit the deer with the volvo she blamed me because I ate venicin sausage pizza the night before. Man it was one kick ass pizza too.
