Default car cd changer help

I have a front loading cd changer in my car dash (a stock Acura unit) where you load one cd at a time. A cd is stuck somehow, somewhere in the mechanism and now I can’t get it to do anything: play, eject, load, etc.

Anyone know how to rectify this without taking it the dealer or is that all I can really do?

I’ve hit it to no avail.

Thanks.

I just had that problem -minus the disc getting stuck. My father the electronics genius took it apart and found out the drive motor that makes the disc spin (as well as load eject in some cases probably) had died. Really no quick fix for that so you might be SOL unfortunately.

I read that if you send me that Kozik NIN poster, it will come out.

Switch to 8 track.

Seriously, everyone I've known who has had this problem basically had to replace the unit, and on top of that, couldn't get the CD out of the old one too.

And just another friendly GP reminder that all packages intended for Nate can be shipped to my home address.
