Hi I'm new here, I design stuff and my favorite cheese is goat gouda...
I want to print some posters at home and I'm wondering if you can recommend a good starter kit? Are ones for shirts good for posters too?

avoid the cheapo kit from the craft store. buy this book, read it beginning to end. every bit of info youll need and it has plans for DIY rigs.
After you buy that book and read it and understand things, prepare to spend $60ish on stuff, just to get going. A screen, a squeegee, maybe some Jiffy clamps and some paper. It's not expensive to get rolling.
Eventually, though, it will take over your life. So there's that.
jiffy clamps, a screen, a squeegee, and a table - good luck sucker, exciting days await.
