i've waited long enough for someone else to start this thread and if it help's whitey stay away from work i'm more than happy to talk about how the blackhawks are doing.
let's start this, just like the season, better late than never.

man, i wish i knew how to put more than one capital letter in thread title. Nhl looks so lame. oh well.
with the way the hawks are built i'm glad it's a short season. not sure they're big enough to endure 82 games of pounding. built more for speed and skill. though jamal mayers taking on torres the other night for what torres did to hossa last year during the play-offs was good to see. they may not have the traditional enforcers, but they have already proven they're are willing to stick up for each other. usually a sign of good team chemistry.
My boys got their mojo back. 2 hot goaltenders. Scoring from unlikely sources. I will be insufferable when we meet mike. especially if they manage to squeeze some points out of the Blackheads.
Ugh... the Hawks! (Wings fanatic) Late start/truncated season aside, it still feels bizarre (and heartbreaking) to not see Lidstrom (and Homer) on the ice. Tootoo sporting the winged wheel is messing with my mind. Ha. Already a hand full of fights and a half an hour in penalty minutes. Been a while since we had a dude like that.
great game!
Pens Canucks Sharks!
Stars > Nucks - they were doing great, (Kess back, Henny passes Naslund as top Canuck) then stopped to read about how great they were. Dummies on Ice.
