no, its a fact.
- likenesses of three famous people, no permission from their estates to sell their image on a print on a piece of merch.
- copyrighted lyrics, no permission to reprint their words from said peoples estates on a piece of merch.
- modified photos you did not take and used them in your print, no permission to do so.
- youre combining these three things into a piece of merchandise you are trying to sell with the three names involved being the primary selling point.
so its my contention that you dont know what the fuck youre talking about.
ps, please post a photo of yourself and a poem you wrote. id like to trace it and sell it on a print and keep all the money. because apparently thats ok.
Well if a poster falls in a forest and nobody's around to hear it...Quote:

See, now if you actually want an argument I'd be glad to give you one..but you just seem to be interested in wanting to appear correct. This is not a fact, I am not attempting to be "selling direct unauthorized likenesses and copywritten lyrics". I have no interest in selling that... I'm attempting to sell Art.
Besides, what do you know about the permissions I have or don't have or would need or where the 'profits' are ending up? If I photographed a photo, is that ok?
That's all irrelevant though--but you won't listen...My contention was that anything I did in creating my prints is completely justifiable--You want to throw laws at me --Well, I throw Art history at you...
But since, you clearly are a little, oh how should we say, ignorant, of Art history---Let's talk about music---particularly Jazz, as this is another thing you missed seeing..What is a foundation of Jazz? I think it would be fair to say that the Jazz musician takes a standard(that's a song--not a moderator), references other standards in their improvisations off of the standard, and usually returns to the standard at the end....It's a dialogue about music, just as Art is a dialogue about Art...Lawyers kill Art--Is that your secret aspiration? Maybe you are dangerous after all....
The Soviet T-34 was the best tank in WW2.
Even Nazi tank General Sepp Dietrich said so.
