I know what you mean Henry. I think part of the reason is the switch to texting communication and the facebook concept of scattered quick comment - like a shotgun. Where a hot thread on GP gathered a small or large group of likeminded wackos precisely taking potshots. Quality of over quantity.

The true measure of how good GP was/is are the friendships created. As much as facebook is about 'friends', I don't see near the real bonds between people that GP created. 10 years later, I've got a circle of people all over the world and at Flatstock that came out of GP. That will never change.

Case in point, Josh fucking Rickun, march, Milwaukee.
