outsmart the spammers

I would give $100 to anyone who can invent a reverse spam bomb - just log onto any spam post, the bomb immediately travels back to the spammer's computer and blows up their hard drive.

If such a person had a Kickstarter, I'd give them a kidney.

yeah, those fuckers get pretty annoying these days. but they seem easy to recognize by their stupid randomly generated usernames like Apefnunny, Beexlogeots, BoveAburbreef, Dastinani, gygienomeot, HauffButh, haummaBeirm, Hinsinvoisp, Inspektorinut, Magbemsdaumma, mumnoffague, pawVowlelay, taisleddith, TorErumnfloum, triplemanp, Z1zrkajrc. (apologies to any real sitemember, whose username I just listed). Clay, is there anything else - besides reporting the spammörs - that can be done to get rid off that pest? do we need more moderators from different time zones?

I'm babysitting the site until about 3 today, it's nuts how hardcore this latest wave had been. We've all been deleting posts and threads and banning MFers left and right the past few days, thanks so much to everyone who is using the little triangle+! icon, it helps a TON to find them all.
