To answer to Connie in a few words....
- the way we can see and explain what are exactly the "things" as "posters" and what we can undestand beyond the"merchandising/advertising object"....
- The history of the rock poster movement until the contemporary scene (including Kozik and the silkscreen time)...
- the different ways for an artist to think/create a rock poster (several chapters)
- the artists that impose a different style or a different way...
- The silkscreen diversity of the materials and texture..
All that said very quickly....
Got my copy through the other week. From the limited amount I can follow, it is incredible. Judging by the images, and the little I can grasp with my limited language skills, nothing has come close, in terms of modern history of the art form. Bravo!
