Sandy hit us pretty hard. Craziest thing was watching all of the power to lower Manhattan being shut off from my window. NY was there one second then all was a black void the next. Some trees pancaked cars on my walk to work. One of the guys here says his cousins cars floated away and he doesn't know where to.

The storm was seriously out of control. Glad that you are safe dudes!

Pittsburgh gets pretty intense flooding downtown from time to time and there are (inexplicably) outdoor parking lots at about 8 1-feet above the river flood line, as well as some indoor-sub-terranean ones that flood like mofos and peoples' cars up and float away. Sometimes they land on a street, sometimes they go down the Ohio and sink.

Hoping that your fella's cuz finds his car. Which...yeah. Wow.

The fire in Breezy Point is effin' heartbreaking.
