UME album kickstarter

so i just got around to printing this thing today. only laid down the first screen, so i'll put some more up tomorrow. the first color is this split fountain and by the way, it's the first split i've done here at the new shop. i'm hand pulling just because i wanted to be able to control the split as best i could, i think it was the best course of action. the split ended up nice and smooth with a few surprises here and there, which tend to be my favorites. my back kind of hurts though.

so here's the 2nd and 3rd colors down. i'm still getting used to being on a water based ink system after using nazdar for the past 5 years. the ink is seems to be a bit more fickle when it comes to thinning and adjusting for transparency. i realized i could only thin the ink out about 30% before it became mottled and splotchy, where with nazdar i could push the transparency to about 70%. also, it definitely changes color quite a bit when drying. i was using extender base and floetrol for thinning, any suggestions on that front would be appreciated. the result is that the differences between the color overlays is more subtle than what was desired. .
