I've been reading it in my downtime and wow this being the bible everyone keeps yapping on about is most definitely true. Great job Andy. This kinda shit is pure gold and few and far between. I'm glad I dropped dollar on this.

And a little story for y'all;

I went to Hay-on-Wye yesterday, which is your quintessential sleepy countryside British town. It's best known as the 'Town of Books!' Seriously, kindles are officially banned there and there are bookshops everywhere. And could you believe it? After scouring the place for the day, I couldn't find a single book on screen printing. Plenty of stuff on fine art, design, sculpture, glassmaking, hell falconry and topography too but no printmaking.
There was also a severe lack of decent typography books. Just some design type books that showcases super sleek modern stuff but serve more like a glossy design catalog for corporate marketing outfits than something for reference. I picked up an old calligraphy book instead to up my hand written game. Currently any writing I incorporate by hand looks like it's from a bout of emo teen angst.

Any tips for a resource of old type, let me know guys.

Rubylith eh? Sounds fun and I'd love to give it a try, that's the stuff you cut out and stick on acectate to dictate what gets exposed on the screen right? Only thing is I cant find it in the UK! Anyone willing to ship me over a roll I'd happily cover the cost of the roll plus shipping.

Yes that would be right! However, I'm Welsh by birth, not by ethnicity. Which is funny when you have a retired American couple in your shop properly laughing their asses off because there's a Chinese guy with a strong Welsh accent serving them.

And Josh you may well be the cool funny guy my friend, but you've yet to prove this to me.

Rubylith....Autotype still make it, and Ulano. Find a screen supply, not an art store.

ruby comes attached to the backing film, you cut and peel away what you don't want, burn the rest on a screen. See also : Jay Ryan, Gary Houston.
