can we make a rule change to extend the non-playable area for goalies to be the entire area behind the net too? goalies that stroll back there to play the puck expecting a guy skating top speed to be able to get around them are idiots...though that's probably why they became goalies in the first place. am i right? (isn't maxflo a goalie?)

i think andrew shaw could have made a better effort not to hit mike smith saturday night, but i think there was just a little bit embelishment on smith's part. he rolled around in pain until he heard shaw got a 5 minute major and a game misconduct then suddenly he's ok to continue. this is hockey not soccer.

Yup. It's wild out there. Not any more violent than specific previous playoffs, but the rivalries are very heated.

So, Torres finally managed to take himself out the game with an indefinite suspension. I've never been able to figure that guy out. Shows spurts of great hockey play and has the ability to cleanly hit as hard and as anyone, but he always seems choose to fuck it up somehow.

indefinite sounds good, but a lot of times it just means "we're going to suspend, we just don't have time to figure out how long for right now."

i'm thinking "indefinite" lasts as long as this series. whatever that might be.
