Default Can anyone recommend a good Wacom tablet?

I'm using Photoshop and Illustrator and want a drawing tool to help get designs/sketches into the programs without having to trace with a mouse. I want more accurate line weights, natural pen strokes and a more productive digital drawing tool which I'm not getting easily using a keyboard and mouse.

Any information will be very useful.

    Thank you.

I have an Intous 4 (9x6 Medium Size). I'm using it with dual 24in Monitors and CS 5.5. All that to say that it works great and I almost never use a mouse anymore. Spring for a second pen and the fancy tip replacements so you can go nuts.

Cintiq's are freakin' radical if you have that kind of bread layin' round.

I just draw on my scanner bed with a dry-erase maker then hit scan. Presto.

i use an intuos 4, which is solid, although i dont have experience with any other tablets to compare it to. i bought the small one though, and there are times when i wish i had just a little more room. go with the medium.

Where the hell did you find one of these? I haven't been able to find either of the new Cintiq's online for sale. I read something in a message board that their factory was destroyed in Japan, but it seems like if that was true Wacom would say so on their site.
