Anyone here been to Bali?

I have a month long trip coming up in December and trying to avoid frat boy central in Kuta. Definitely hitting waves, motorbikes, mountains, and temples for sure. Anyone been there or have any tips, places, people to see or meet? I highly doubt there are any screen printers there, but would be rad to meet some if there were.

Go up North to Lovina to see the black sand beaches... not many tourists there. Fishing boats can take you out early in the morning to see the dolphins cruise by in the ocean. Do it

Go East towards Padangbai for good diving base. Snorkel at Blue Lagoon is awesome. Small town with a ferry terminal, relaxed place.

Tulamben on the East shore has great wreck dive straight from shore. Quite amazing ww2 ship that was beached after a Japanese attack. It rolled back into the water after the massive quake in the 1960's

Then take you ass further East and chill out on one of the Gili islands that are between Bali and Lombok. Good diving and cheap beach huts.

Rad suggestions! I'll definitely have to check out that WW2 ship! Seems like the key to success will definitely be to head East. Thanks for the tips!
