join the API and you'll get an email when registration is open. I think that might be next week?

Anyone out there looking to share a room or have a stranger sleep on their floor? This will be my first SXSW and the hotel rates seem pretty high and I have no idea where to stay, etc.

Hey Nate, we're trying to figure out our stuff...we should try to gang up! We usually stay at the Super 8 off the highway, which I'm not totally opposed to doing again, but last year it definitely seemed like it was turning into the kind of place where way-lower-tier "unsigned-on-myspace" nu-metal bands learn how to trash their rooms and throw shopping carts in the pool. If we can figure out how to graduate to the kind of place where middle-tier regional-label-you've-never-heard-of regular-metal bands trash their rooms, we might try to do that.

Just signed up. Might lose my ass but it'll be nice to get out of Chicago in Smarch.
I'll most likely be traveling alone and am game for shacking up with an/other poster person/people. I snore when I'm drunk.
