so next weekend i am being flown out to baltimore to do some live printing at a party on sunday. i'll be out there for 3 days and so far my only goal is to pick up an orioles hat to replace one that i lost a while back. anyone know of any cool places to go? printers out there? bars? shops? skateparks? breakdancing robots? drug dealers? trannies? talking dogs? weapons distributors? terrorists? laser guided dolphins?

I was in Baltimore last week and I went to a bar that specializes in exotic meat burgers. I had a kangaroo burger. Don't do that. Kangaroo makes for a shitty burger. I don't remember what the bar was called. But if you end up in a bar with kangaroo burgers, don't fall for that shit. My brother's elk burger was excellent.

There are plenty of great places to get stabbed in the face in Baltimore. Keep walking in any direction long enough and you're sure to end up somewhere stabby.

Though I have not yet myself managed to get stabbed in the face, every time I've been to Baltimore something insane and fucked up has happened, leaving me convinced that people in Baltimore are completely nuts and the place is cursed.

Stephen King almost ran me over in his car as I crossed the street once in Baltimore. True story.

I was there for a conference, he was there for a different conference.

Early on a Sunday morning I was walking to the convention center and was crossing a large street. A car didn't slow down for the light and came to a screecher of a halt right next to me as I jumped back. The man behing the wheel who very nearly ran me over looked exactly like Stephen King and I thought "Holy shit! That guy looks like Stephen King!" as we stared at each other in surprise and fear for about 5 seconds less than 3 feet from each other's faces.

Then, my eyes dropped and I read his big ol' conference laminate tag:

the best part of visiting Baltimore is there is no worry about finding public bathrooms....simply piss your pants and you're pretty much considered a local and will blend right in.
