Heyo! Another process thread. This one will be really cool. We are dedicating a section of our giant wall for a monthly mural that will start the first of the month and then rotate to the next artist the following month. Each artist gets 48 hours to get the mural up and then we'll throw a big party at Frank. We've got some time lapse video being shot and stuff. Drink NeuroŽ is sponsoring to help make it all happen.
First up is Jason Archer who is also helping coordinate the artists and the project. His was one of the illustrators on Richard Linkleter's Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly. He's won an MTV Video of the Year Award and a Latin Grammy Award his animation.
Matthew Rodriguez will follow in Oct. and this new kid named Jay Ryan in Nov. More artists will be announced shortly.

My buddy and Frank-regular Dan Rudman gave me the heads up in this a few days ago. It sounds so cool -- really looking forward to how it turns out.

i just still don't understand how people can do this right now without dying of heat. i bet it was 112 when that pic was taken.
If i ever get to do one, i would like to only when it is snowing.
looks cool though - can't wait to see the finished wall.
