Default Things to do in Reykjavik

I'm going to be there for a few days at the end of September. I don't really know too much about the place. Anything I should make time for?

Go bug Swarez, eat a puffin, make sure you take the shuttle bus to and from the airport, eat Skyr, take a geysir/waterfall tour, get smashed on Viking beer and Brennivin...

When are you going to be there? I'm going to be in Austin at the end of September.
What Dan and Jay said basically. If I remember correctly the cock museum isn't in Reykjavik anymore, moved to the countryside.

Oh and if any of you guys are coming over during september I'm renting out my apartment.

Sheep face sounds disturbing, but even more so that Jay ate it.

Make sure to get on the bus right after you arrive, don't dick around the airport like I did. You end up having to take a taxi to the next bus stop location...I wasted a lot of time and money hanging around a bus stop in one of the outlying towns, pretty though. And bring booze, it is not cheap there plus it is a good way to make new friends.

No, more of Sigur Ros fans. I met one GUS GUS fan the other day.

Anyhoo. Below are some our national dishes.

    Sheep face.

    Jellied ram nuts.

    Fermented shark

    Sheep face jelly

    Enjoy!
