Default Dinkey Creek here I come

I went to Dinkey Creek/Camp Fresno yesterday (sunday) to drop off my mom and my oldest boy. they are going to stay there all week. I will be heading up there wednesday after work. and staying there til sat or sun. I it was beautiful up there. I wish I could of stayed. We use to go up there every summer when I was younger and everytime I go there it reminds how much I love it there and how I need to get up there more often.
For those of you that don't know of this place it's just south of Shaver Lake, about 13 miles or so.

If any of you ever get the chance I strongly advise you to check it out.

    One more little cool thing.

My cousins and my aunt and uncle rented 2 cabins that are at the very back of Camp Fresno in Dinkey Creek. I asked the people in charge if they might have any cancellations, also letting them know that I will be coming back on thursday. She said you never know
to just keep checking back. We exchanged phone numbers. Just to have a back up plan. On the other side of Dinkey Creek they have an area where you can camp with a tent and sleeping bags ($24.00 per night). I went over there and asked if they had anything and at the same time explaining my situation. The lady told they they are all booked. She then told me to back of Camp Fresno. The back road that goes around the back side of Camp Fresno. That I can just set up a tent anywhere behind Camp Fresno (It's Free) and that there's a little wooden fence that let's you know where Camp Fresno ends. So I drive back over to check it out and as I drive up the road I see my family just on the other side of the fence. So all I have to do is set a tent I'm right there with them and I don't have to pay anything. Just to let you knoe the cabins they rent are $400.00 per week. SCORE!!!!!
