    Default Art Projector

I was wondering if any of you guys have a suggestion for an art projector? I've been asked to do a mural on a wall inside of a gallery and was thinking my only option is to project and trace my work. I've been looking online for projectors and I haven't found anything solid or just bad reviews.

    Any suggestions?

    That's the key word OPAQUE.

    Thanks.

Check old schools or churches? Gotta be some old projectors sitting around somewhere.

Yeah, I was thinking about finding one of those old school ones to use but I read the line quality suffers the larger you go... I found this one at a modest price.

I hope it works. I might buy it.

I bought a couple projectors at a school auction, and I can safely say that the old school, giant metal kind (pictured below) is well better than the Artograph type. I've also got the "Tracer" that you can get at Hobby Lobby, and is only good for children.
Main reason the OLD type is better is that the old kind uses a 1000 W bulb, so it can throw a lot of light, and throw it far, and even be seen in a slightly light room. Focus is pretty good at up to 20 feet. Also- it can project full size 8.5x11 paper. The Artograph is considerably dimmer, I think it said not to use higher than a 200 W bulb, and the area that can be projected is quite small. If you can find yourself one of the old things, I say get it.

    Beseler:

I have one I could sell you. It's black and works good, I replaced the power cable on it, but I don't have a bulb for it.
