    Default cycle truck ?

so- I'm in the market for a cycle truck (cargo bike, baker's bike, postal bike, etc...)

and I've found a bunch of makers online like Ahearne, Civia, Worksman, and a bunch of european companies, but I'm wondering if any of you guys know of other shops / companies that might carry or build their own?

I'm not really looking for a bakfiet or a long tail cargo bike, but links to those are welcome too! thanks!

    probably what I can afford:
    Industrial Bicycles from Worksman Cycles

these are pretty ok looking too:
    Civia Cycles

    so nice, but can't afford:
    Cycle Truck - Ahearne Cycles

    a nice long-tail:
    Madsen Cycles — Welcome

    amazing cargo:
    CETMA Cargo

Someone on here has a really nice one, I can't remember who though. If I remember right it's one like one of the CETMA ones.

-- and - pizza delivery here is all cars... can you get me a bike? I can nearly guarantee that NYC pizza delivery is all Worksman bikes. so cool.

My co worker tested an Ahearne Cycle Truck and had a lot of good things to say about it. Review: Ahearne Cycle Truck | Bicycle Times Magazine

She also road around on the Civia and thought it was a bit hard to handle with a load in front. I believe they currently only make one size which doesn't necessarily fit all...

I'm quite taken with these bikes Brown Cycles of Grand Junction, Colorado. I love the the fact that you can interchange a basket and a child's seat, but I have kids. That may not be a selling point for you.

Good luck with whatever you decide on.

yep: cetma cargo. picked up the frame from portland on the day of mike king's wedding last fall, then drove it back to chicago. assembled over the winter as i could afford parts. love it, love it, love it. we've got the new baby, and i bolted a base for her car seat into the box, so she goes out for rides basically all weekend. once she's older, we'll put in the bench and she'll be able to sit up, looking forward. it's not a racing bike - i go about 10 mph comfortably, instead of the 15-18 i'm used to on my road bikes.

the box is big and can carry a ton when it's not filled with baby car seat.

look at the cetma cargo site. my bike is like all the rest of them on there. i don't have a pic of the whole thing on this computer. here's isabel (and her little friend tueben) in her seat, as seen from my POV, earlier this spring.

you can get bullitt brand or some other perfectly fine chinese made complete bike for less, but i wanted to get this one for slightly more money from a one-man shop, where lane kagay builds each frame by hand.
most of the time we never fish!
