Hey NYC GP Persons,
I'm sorry I don't post here as often these days, but I have a feeling there might be a bunch of people who might actually prefer it that way. I do still tend to lurk in the background . . .
Anyway, I wanted to let those of you in striking distance of NYC know about something some of my friends put together to raise money for the Gulf cleanup, specifically the American Bird Conservancy. If it doesn't interest you, that's fine, but if it does, please help spread the word. There's very little time between this announcement and the show itself, and it obviously would be best for the Conservancy if it could sell-out.

Friends with a Benefit
Does this picture upset you? On Aug 29, at 7 pm, you can help at “Friends with a Benefit,” a one-night-only comedy and music extravaganza at New York City’s Town Hall, which will help raise money for the American Bird Conservancy, helping the poor birds devastated by the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
