I wasn't at the game, but I was outside Maple Leaf Garden after that final game. Played hockey with sticks and a crushed beer can in front with some really drunk canadiens. Probably my favorite rink that I have seen a game at (Leafs/Flames game several years earlier).

i believe chicago won that game. hawks closed out the garden and the montreal forums with victories over the home teams...the few notches they had in the win column during those years.

Sharts stink. Blackhawks schooled them sooo bad last night. Lucky to walk away with the score only being 4-2.

I don't know how anybody could watch that game and say that hockey players aren't the most skilled professional athletes. I don't remember exactly when it happened but about a decade a go the hand-eye coordination for hockey players got crazy good.
