Whining doesn't take away from humility? Shit, maybe I should buy a dictionary. Outside of his whining I would actually say he is extremely humble for a huge star. I watch quite a bit of Pens games through the year; he doesn't hot dog and he credits his teammates. Besides, most people hating on Crosby are doing it because he's become a notorious whiner. Not the handshake thing... which was blown way out of proportion anyway by Draper. Speaking of whiners...

No worries - I hate a couple of players for lesser reasons anyways. I can't express in words how much I loathe Scott Hartnell. For some reason I just hate his face. Can't stand his style of play either and seeing that big stupid ginger mane coming out from under his helmet just puts it over the top.

not sure how big buff got the roughing penalty when one guy raked the stick across his face then two others tried to start with him. and it can't be because he skated to the net after the shot because the ref's arm didn't go up until they were well into it. i'm thinking he must have said the magic words inside the scrum and ref's decided to call it a roughing.

This is very true. Although it's not why I hate the Red Wings. I hated them when they sucked as well. But, the success of the Canadians, Islanders, Oilers and then Penguins gave me mad dislike for those teams. I always hated Lemiuex although I always loved Gretz. I was so happy when he got traded to the Kings and I could root for him.
