I'm also dealing with people emailing me that they bought a bootleg copy of the same poster. Where the quality sucked and there was a shity moire' pattern throughout the poster. My name is even being forged.

a couple local pinmakers (they actually have a banner ad on GP, livingimpaired.com) were making pins and selling them of all kinds of copyrighted shit, stuff from all over. i told them that they probably shouldnt continue doing that for blahblahblah reasons and they basically laughed at me and were like BOOHOO were stealing artwork and making like 2 cents profit, nobody cares...

Damn Brian that sucks. It's sad but so many people probably don't even know the time and effort that go into these posters. They probably just think it's some thing the band or record label came up with. The poster rip is the lamest. On the bright side, you're one cool mofo worth ripping off.

those idiots give pinmakers a bad name, and on top of that it's not like it's a get rich quick scheme either. they make squat for profits and put their butts on the line.

i used to get emails from dudes in europe asking me to make thousands of bootleg converge and taking back sunday pins for their distros.
