Looks like when he's not bludgeoning suspected terrorists in a 'roid rage, he does a little... modeling on the side.

"Every single Crosshair poster I've ever seen is almost exactly the same. Do these guys even have a bit of creativity in them? I mean, come one - shitty old building pics photoshopped with text over them. Pretty pathetic to say the least." -Ebeaner

"it just seems like so little effort is put into creating this? am i missing something?" -Ebeaner

Almost all of the reservists/grunts/non-officers I know that are involved in these wars thinks this way. I'm surprised more of this doesn't happen. My girl knows all these dudes from her high school that keep coming home from tours in Iraq and, to a much lesser extent, Afghanistan. They are all completely unaware of any kind of realistic reason for military action over there: they like to repeat the "jealous of our freedom" line, for example. I had to leave the room the last time one of them was talking, as he described the people-he-was-shooting-at as, alternately and interchangably:

    -- Arabs
    -- Sunnis
    -- Shiites
    -- Iraqis
    -- Muslims
    -- Taliban
    -- Al Qaeda
-- Buddhists (he actually fucking said buddhists)
    -- Afghanis
-- Ragheads, raghead motherfuckers, towel heads, motherfucking towelheads...
-- and of course, Sand Ni--ers.

This was a guy kicking down doors in Iraqi cities, and using night vision to try and land headshots at people walking through the desert. I'm pretty sure that, if he didn't kill anyone, then he at least ruined some innocent lives over there. I'd really like to think that somewhere along the line these kids are at least put in front of a filmstrip that explains these two countries' ethnic groups, who we're looking for, and why. Maybe on that 14-hour flight, maybe. Maybe.
