Gotta agree here. It's nice to see a balance between ornamental detail and a strong layout. A lot of artists seem to just put detail everywhere, and don't step back to think about dynamics.

i'll have to look that up, then! i'd love to see actual ink things of his, i know he used to be almost exclusively an illustrator whore.
