Spent the night in a Gadsden, AL hotel room watching the world series, drinking a six pack of mixed belgian and Rogue beers that I paid 26 bucks for in Birmingham because I am an idiot and didn't look at the prices (store owner said "well, at least you gonna DRINK like a millionaire, boy") out of square candle jars i bought from the WalMart across the street to sample groundwater and soil at a chemical weapons dumping site that I work at for some reason, streaming the Dead from NYC '77, and after eating at Ruby Tuesdays with a pile of late-middle aged NASCAR fans, and while ogling a jpg of the Hunter WestFest poster I bought. Beat that shit.

what happened to Halloween being scary? I mean blood, death and monsters... all I saw tonight were sluts and celebrity costumes... not a drop of death or horror anywhere... Halloween FAIL!

I haven't done anything on Halloween in a few years.

painted some of the house, took the babby out for her first halloween experience (she was an expert by the 2nd stop), party at the connor compound, on the floor listening to records, watched flatliners alone in the dark while my dog snored.

we just moved in yesterday so we hit the new neighborhood. i was stoked to see a crap-load of kids/families out in the street ( including many skeletons and deaths mr springer ) and about half of the homes participating and putting an effort into decorating. one lady turned her entire home into a haunted house. good times.
