Thanks Rich. That one was done in my special faux monotype method ... i put about ten coats of polyurethane on a piece of masonite until it was really slick and glassy, let that dry, covered it completely in black etching ink, and painted backwards with paper towels and turpentine. Once the etching ink was pretty dry, i hit it with a few white highlights. then i poured a ton more poly on it, which made the ink bleed a bit. Dreamy.

Okay, these toys, about a year and a half into development and production, are finally going on sale this weekend...


I'm very pleased with the final results, hard to believe I have three separate vinyl toys out now, with more on the way.
