For the cards I used Rhino, a 3d app that I use for drafting and 2d work as well...and a Rhino plugin called Grasshopper which is a component based scripting environment. It makes scripting more visual than writing code only.
I then export as dxf and import into Illustrator then layout the pieces as two up in InDesign.

I would freak at the amount of detail that zombie's hand would need but you selected the perfect amount of lines. Nice!

I just finished designing the grid for a collaboration with an unnamed GP artist. The colors are bleh, I just scribbled out some rough ideas in isolated sections of the design with my tablet, copied them, did some hue changes and pieced the different sections back together again. It should be finished around the middle of January
