finally, here is the first painted Greasebat, available at New York Comic Con this weekend if the box arrives on time from Tokyo. There will also be a secret colorway at the convention, also painted in a classic simple kaiju style.


It took awhile for the painting masks to be made, so we had already released a few unpainted vinyls. So far every edition has sold out in a few minutes.

thanks! yeah I'm not a fan of the supply and demand aspect and the way they have to be sold. They are virtually handmade at a small workshop in Tokyo, so that means smaller batches. Once demand dies down they should be easier to get yer hands on... unless they somehow become ironic and demand goes up again.

Demand for these isn't going to die down for a long time. It's an amazing figure.

I think you should start working on jumbo and mini sized versions next. I want an 18" Greasebat to stand guard over my display cases and a 3" version to perch on my computer monitors.. Make it happen

Oh hell yes, I'd love to do one o' them fiberglass figures a certain somebody here has been doing... or even a big cheapo blow mold, bootleg style.

A mini is likely the next project. If I have my way it will be a mini playset, like with an enemy and a building to destroy.
