    Default Printmaker help!!!!

I have a show opening in 10 days and I am having major problems with printing. I keep ending up with these washed out areas of my images. The plates check out okay and are holding ink well but it's not getting transfered over to the printed image. I have tried switching inks, change the exposure of the plates, adjusting pressure, etc. My only other variables are to change the blankets (which are old, but I don't know how old or how long blankets should last before being changed) or that my paper is drying too quickly.

Probably flat spots in the blankets if they are old. Not sure what you're using but I've seen people place 2-3 sheets of stock under the blanket to get better pressure.

I like your MOTEL print alot.

Just finished my biggest inked drawing in a long time. 20x26 inches. I'll post a better pic when I get one but for now this will do.

I will most likely retouch it a bit.

Wanna do a bigger one now.
