I don't think anyone was questioning the quality of your art, just what the general theme/meaning of the installation was.

I didnt think they were really. I hate this internet thing, i find that meaning and tone get lost in translation.
The installation itself was me working for a couple of days in a space with another chap. I suppose for me it was about the two of us talking and sharing ideas etc, and these things that got made were sort of the mind doodles and burps that were left, made from objects and items we love or are drawn to. We share similar concerns etc. I find humour and play are quite important in making things, i like the idea of spreading a little joy...

Kirk, it'd be better if the illustration part of that had some distressing or stains like the BG. The illo looks too homogenized compared to the BG.
